1958 Flying Cloud 22′ #O-3517

Prime example of model names meaning nothing. 100% Caravanner layout and window arrangement – with a Flying Cloud nameplate.

This Ohio made O- 3517. It is garnered that Airstream sales guys could assign any name to any 18 and 22 foot trailer.

What it really appears to be is a Ohio Caravanner body with a Custom interior and curbside window. It is surprising, since this was the era of their “Custom” line of trailers, why Airstream didn’t give this a Custom designation. Maybe somebody really, really wanted the Flying Cloud name?
