1955 Bubble 16′

First year for the 16′ “Bubble”. There never was a Bubble nameplate, but brochures and price lists used the name. Made in 1956 only in California, Ohio starts the next year. In California they were made only at the Firestone Ave., Norwalk plant only.

All appear to have the rear 9 panel “Dutchman” cap and the rounded wheelwell cutout. The teardrop shaped style arrives the following year – an easy way to a ’55 model.
